I got the new "The Residents" DVD the other day. It has about 60 one min videos (most are new) really worth checking out, really in the devo spirit.

Re: As interesting as Devo
Thu, October 28, 2004 - 1:02 PMYes! Great stuff! My friend just showed this to me the other day. He asked if I had ever heard of the Residents and I gave him the most retarded look I could muster and said sarcastically with drooly lips and crossed eyes, "Uh no, I've lived here my whole life and never heard of 'em". Such a regionalist bitch I can be. ; )
Sooooo, Kimric, does that mean you finally got a DVD player and checked out the Devo DVD? That's some good shit, eh? My son has stolen it and is keeping it hostage in his room. His friends really think he's off now ('specially since viewing "Love without Anger" Squawk!!!).
Ah, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree...thank god!

Mon, December 27, 2004 - 11:07 PMExcellent, Kimric.
Can you keep the DVD handy for the next time Chicken John needs a last-minute booking at the Odeon?
I would show up and buy a few drinks just to get a peek at that thing on the big screen. -

Re: As interesting as Devo
Fri, May 6, 2005 - 1:55 PMDoes Attaboy & Burke remind anyone else of Devo? I'm not sure why they do, exactly. It's like a more funky hip hop kind of Devotude.
